Terms of use

This is a translation for information purposes. In case of discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.

1. Who we are

StreetGuessr is a service of Marcos Martinez Lanchares, with tax ID 16632188Z and address at Plaza del Mercado, 15, 26001 Logroño (La Rioja), Spain. Contact: contacto@streetguessr.com.

2. Your account

• To play you need an account with a verified email or with Google. You must be at least 14 years old.
• Your player name, avatar, town and scores are public in the rankings. Don't use offensive names, names that impersonate other people or names that include personal data: we may change them or suspend the account.
• You are responsible for keeping your password safe.

3. Fair play

Using bots, automated programs, cheats or any other way of manipulating scores, ELO, coins or items is not allowed. If we detect cheating we may cancel results, remove items or coins and suspend or delete the account, with no right to a refund for anything obtained fraudulently.

4. Virtual coins and items

All avatar items and pets are available for free. Coins are earned by playing and have no monetary value outside the game. They cannot be purchased, exchanged for money or transferred to other accounts.

5. Purchases disabled

Real-money purchases, coin packs and new paid accounts are currently unavailable. Rights and benefits from previous purchases, if any, are preserved. For questions about a previous purchase, contact contacto@streetguessr.com.

6. Advertising

The game shows Google AdSense ads, including full-screen ads at the end of some games. Watching a rewarded ad (for example, for the extra life in classic mode or the extra guess in the street of the day) is voluntary. Previously purchased ad-free benefits are preserved.

7. Service availability

We try to keep StreetGuessr always available, but there may be interruptions for maintenance or reasons beyond our control. Street data comes from OpenStreetMap and may contain errors.

8. Closing your account

You can ask for your account to be deleted at any time by writing to contacto@streetguessr.com. Deleting it means losing the associated coins and items.

9. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms significantly, we will let you know in the game. If you don't agree with the changes, you can stop using the service and delete your account.

10. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, the courts of your place of residence shall have jurisdiction. Before going to court, write to us at contacto@streetguessr.com and we will try to resolve it.

11. User content, reports and moderation

• Player names and avatars are chosen by users. If you see a name that is offensive, impersonates someone, contains personal data or that you believe is illegal, report it by writing to contacto@streetguessr.com with the player's name, where you saw it and why you think it is not allowed.
• We review every report by hand, without automated systems, and reply to you. If we take action (changing the name, cancelling results, suspending or deleting the account), we explain the reasons to the person affected, who can ask us to review it by writing to the same address.
• Against cheating we also use the server's security rules, which reject impossible scores.
